From December 1 to December 3, 2022, the II Congress of Young Scientists was held in the Sirius Science and Arts Park (Sochi, Russia), which became the key event of 2022 within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology
During the three days of work, the II Congress of Young Scientists brought together more than 3 thousand participants from 77 regions of Russia and 40 countries of the world. Over 155 events were held. The Congress was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Assistant to the Head of state Andrei Fursenko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov and many others.
During the congress, its participants discussed issues on the development of Russian science, its contribution to the development of the economy, and the scientific and technical sovereignty of the country at various thematic platforms, round tables, and panel discussions. Separately, we talked about the integration of new territories into the scientific and educational environment of Russia.
As part of the Business Program of the Congress, a presentation was held:
1. Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes";
2. Global Invention Forum;
3. Congress and exhibition events held by the Committee for Inventive, Rationalization and Patent Licensing Activities (under the ALSOP Bureau) together with the Moscow City Organization VOIR.
The forum ended with the presentation of the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation in the field of science and innovation for young scientists for 2021 and the plenary session "Russian science in the era of international rivalry".
