Winners Announced for the GIF-2026 Global Invention Forum Competition
Between October 14 and 15, 2026, the International Jury of the 7th Global Invention Forum (GIF-2026) evaluated and finalized the forum’s competition program. The jury was led by Dr. Yoshiro Nakamatsu, President of the Dr. NakaMats Innovation Institute (Japan).
Forum participants were honored with gold and silver medals, special prizes, and diplomas for their innovative inventions.
The forum’s Grand Prix was awarded to Kuban State Technological University for the invention: “Software module. Laboratory information VR stand for configuring and modeling a nonlinear radar for detecting hidden devices”

- Joint Stock Company Research and Design Institute for Information Technology, Signalling and Telecommunications on Railway Transport (JSC NIIAS) for the invention: “Dual-Channel Fault-Tolerant System for Monitoring the Status and Controlling the Objects of the Station and Adjacent Sections”.

The International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) medal was awarded to You-Yun Wang, Pei-Iun Hsieh, Yi-Syuan Chen, Ching-Wen Chang, Ming-Chih Yang, Wei-Hsun Wang for the invention: “Gear-Synchronized Adjustable Hip Abduction Orthosis for Newborns”.
The forum took place in a hybrid format. The forum participants’ projects were presented to a broad scientific and technical community during the 68th International Technical Fair (Belgrade, Republic of Serbia), as well as at an extended meeting of the Moscow branch of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers held at the Russian Patent Office in Moscow.
In 2026, the award-winning inventions from the forum will be featured at prominent international invention exhibitions across the globe.
